It also counts a different thing from the other countries here: Portuguese law allows up to two given names, so a girl registered Maria Leonor is counted under Maria and again under Leonor, where Spain and Italy would file her whole forename once. That is why Maria reaches about one girl in seven. The IRN has announced 2024 and 2025 but not published them.
